What to expect on the night
- Friendly table. First-timers welcome at every game. Nobody's going to ridicule a slow decision — the regulars all remember being new.
- Tournament format. Buy-in is $30 for a 75,000 starting stack. Pay the $5 add-on for an extra 10,000 chips and to earn points in the season league.
- Eat at the pub, get more chips. 25,000 extra chips when you order a meal at the venue.
- Cash prize pool. Final places paid from the prize pool. Optional $20 bonus pool on the night.
Common questions
Do I need to register beforehand?
Not strictly, but Fred appreciates a heads-up — especially if it's your first game. Send a message and you'll get a quick rundown so you know what to expect.
How do the season league points work?
Players who pay the $5 add-on receive league points for that night's game. Skip the add-on and you can still play — you just don't earn points for that session.
What if I've never played live poker before?
Perfect — that's exactly who these games are for. Mention it when you message and Fred will walk you through the basics before the cards come out.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes — bringing someone new is encouraged. Just mention it so the table is set.
